- You are not to allowed to claim rooms as your own or block rooms so they are inaccessible.
- Prop Surfing is not allowed on the server in any form.
- Pronographic material is not allowed on the server.
- Horizon Servers operates under the COPA act, which states that players under the age of 13 are not allowed on our servers.
- Keep swearing to a minimum, also no use of any derogatory terms is allowed.
- Do NOT share any of your or others private personal information in the server.
- Do NOT bring any personal conflicts or issues onto the server.
- Advertising on the server is not allowed
- Do NOT Spam the Voice and Text chats with unneeded noise.
- Do Not RDM ANYONE on the server
- Metagaming and Ghosting is not allowed on the server
Misc. rules:
Map specific rules and punishments;
- On maps with secret Traitor Weapons, you must declare you possession of the weapon. if you don't declare you possession of the weapon, a player can kill/KOS you for having it. Using the weapon without reason is KOS'able
- Sand Raiders: Don't camp in pods as they make you invincible and is KOS'able. Warning to exit -> Slain by Staff
- Albatross: Camping in the boat not allowed and is KOS'able.
- Traitor Industrie: Firing the turret within the building is considered a Traitorous act which is KOS'able
Killing and KOS'in:
The only time killing a player can be justified is if you have evidence beyond doubt that they are a Traitor or have Performed a Traitorous act and killing based on speculation is not allowed and can result in punishment for doing so.
- In order to KOS a player you must know the Players Name and see them perform a Traitorous Act.
- KOS's Can be called in either Voice Chat and Text chat, so be aware of them both.
- KOS can be canceled only by the player who called it. If you KOS an Innocent player for no reason
- (False KOS) upon their death and Confirmation of Role, you can be KOS'ed by the other players on the server.
- Do NOT kill AFK players as an Innocent until overtime. We have an auto-spectate system on the server so it is better if you don't touch the AFK player.
- Do NOT kill players who were called "Highly Suspicious" previously in the round in overtime".
- Do NOT revenge RDM a player.
- Do NOT kill players if you think they activated a Traitor Trap (The floating mouse cursor traps).
- Do NOT kill players if they refuse to get tested.
- Do NOT prop damage other players without reason (whether alive or as a spectator).
- Do NOT KOS a player based on their Accessories or Player Models.
- Do NOT KOS based on location.
- Dectectives can NOT Kill or KOS anyone for no reason.
- If you put a KOS on a player, then that player can kill you unless you cancel it.
Definitions:
RDM: (Random DeathMatching); Commonly defined as attacking a player without any sufficient reasoning.
KOS: (Kill on Sight); A call out on a player can use to declare another player as a traitor to the server.
Metagaming: Defined as using a Third Party Communications System.
Prop Surfing; Using props to move around in a manner that would be otherwise unachievable without the assistance of props.
Punisments:
- RDM | Innocent = 1 auto slay
| Detective/Traitor = 2 auto slays
- MassRDM | 3+ rdm = equivilent auto slays and 3 or greater day Ban
- RDM and Leave | Equivilent Auto slays and a 3 day Ban (increases over multiple bans)
- False Report | 1 auto slay
- Mic/Chat spam | Warning -> chatting privillages removed (temp) -> kick -> 24 hour Ban
- Harrasment | Warning -> Chatting privillages removed -> Banned for non-descript time period
- Meta-gaming | 4 week ban
- Ghosting | 4 week ban
- Inappropriate Content | Warning -> Kick -> Banaybe
- Sharing of personal information/matters | Warning -> Kick
Declerations:
Punishments are subject to change under a super admin or above’s discretion
On Horizon Servers, we do have access to commands that allow us to force your mic on for us to listen to. This is only used as a last resort in suspicion of meta gaming.
